*** !!YOUR MONEY MATTERS!! ***
Last month we prevented the eviction of 3 local families by paying back rent and delivering much needed food to those who are food insecure.
Your many donations become “the body of Christ on earth” to our guests in need, helping to keep a roof over their heads and food on their tables. Thank you for your generosity. Click "Donate" on the main menu to contribute financially.

**CASSEROLE DONATIONS NEEDED**
SVDP keeps frozen casseroles in Heritage House for families in need. We are normally well-stocked, but we recently had a deficit.
Please donate casseroles at the rectory from 10 AM - 4 PM / Monday-Friday.
** Note: Please use disposable tins. **
We also accept frozen casseroles you buy!
It's easy to pick up a frozen mac & cheese or lasagna when you're grocery shopping! It will help a family in need to put food on the table.
!!Thank you in advance for your help!!!
********************************************************** FROZEN TURKEYS ARE NEEDED ****
Your donation of a frozen turkey will help a family celebrate Thanksgiving and have leftovers for meals in the following days.
!!! Thank you in advance for your help !!!

PSEG RATES KEEP RISING!
Everyone in New Jersey is experiencing a significant increase in PSEG rates. Expanded power usage from AI Call Centers and EVs are utilizing more power, exceeding our capacity and requiring NJ to import power.
This price surge will greatly impact many of our neighbors in need. Your donations help keep the lights and the heat on! this winter!

Information on upcoming training events:
High school youth participate in the food and clothing drives of SVDP. They also assist in making toiletry bags for our homeless guests.
Teens who are involved with school and extracurricular activities can also provide much needed "hands up" assistance by making casseroles and sandwiches in their homes.
We are grateful to the 39 Marlton Chief Cheerleaders who recently made 300 sandwiches to feed neighbors in need.
With parental consent, SVDP accepts all of these outreach efforts toward community service hours. Once teen turn 18, they can become a fully participating member of SVDP if they choose to do so.
