About Us

Who We Are

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Moorestown is a non-profit  local conference of The National Council of the United States, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Inc.,  a non-profit organization that serves more than 5 million people annually in the U.S.  Members, known as Vincentians, faithfully serve those in need through their local SVDP Conferences.  We are a Catholic lay organization committed to growing spiritually and forming friendships to better help those in need.  Approximately 98% of all donations go directly to serving those in need in our local community.

Our Mission

The mission of SVDP Moorestown is to serve those in need with compassion and dignity. We are committed to alleviating poverty and providing support to individuals and families in our community.

In 2024, due to the great  generosity of our donors, we utilized nearly $70,000 to provide financial assistance to our guests.  This included:

  • Assisting 5 otherwise homeless families with temporary housing,
  • Paying rent to prevent  the eviction of 43 adults and 13 children
  • Addressing the needs of dozens of guests who are food insecure.
  • Sending more than 40 children with an adult family member to an afternoon at Johnson's Farm to brighten their day.
